The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, held a double event at the party’s state secretariat in Lafia, the official flag-off of sensitization and voter registration (CVR) campaign and the celebration of the two-year leadership milestone of its State Chairman, Dr. Aliyu Bello.
The event was attended by prominent figures including the State Commissioner for Education, Dr. John D. W. Mamman; Dr. Faisal Shuaib; and the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed.
Governor Abdullahi Sule, who was unavoidably absent, was ably represented by his deputy, Dr. Emmanuel Agwadu Akabe.
Speakers at the occasion praised Dr. Bello’s inclusive leadership style, describing his two years in office as a period of unity, growth, and consolidation for the party in the state.
The voter registration campaign was also highlighted as a critical step in strengthening grassroots participation ahead of future elections.
The event reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to deepening internal democracy, expanding membership, and sustaining its dominance in Nasarawa State politics.
