The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State on Monday celebrated the two-year leadership milestone of its State Chairman, Dr. Aliyu Bello, with party stakeholders commending his style of inclusive and impactful leadership.
The event, held in Lafia, attracted key political figures including the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Danladi Jatau, who praised Dr. Bello for fostering unity, harmony, and growth within the party.
Dr. Jatau used the occasion to appeal for automatic return tickets for APC lawmakers seeking re-election, stressing that members of the House have worked closely with the government and contributed significantly to the state’s development.
“On behalf of my colleagues who wish to return, I appeal for automatic tickets so that we can continue our constitutional duty of moving the state to greater heights,” he said.
The Speaker also described the presence of fellow legislators at the event as a clear reflection of Dr. Bello’s quality of leadership, which he said promotes inclusiveness and strengthens party cohesion.
The celebration climaxed with the official flag-off of a voter registration campaign, signaling the party’s readiness to consolidate its grassroots support ahead of future elections.
