Earlier today, the management of Rangers International Football Club of Enugu, led by its General Manager, Barr. Amobi Ezeaku, paid special honour to the Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi.

Barr. Danladi, who is in Enugu for the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Conference, also took time to sign the condolence register at the Rangers House in memory of Christian Chukwu, the legendary former Rangers captain and ex-skipper of Nigeria’s Green Eagles (now Super Eagles).

The Attorney General commended the management of Rangers International for preserving the legacy of one of Nigeria’s greatest football icons, stressing that Chukwu’s name would continue to inspire generations of players and fans.

He noted that football, beyond entertainment, has the power to unite people and foster national identity.

On his part, Barr. Amobi Ezeaku described the honour accorded to Barr. Danladi as a recognition of his unwavering support for sports development.

He added that the condolence register remains a symbol of respect for Christian Chukwu, whose leadership on and off the pitch contributed immensely to Nigerian football history.
