The Bauchi State Governor and Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum, Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, has hailed the party’s loyalists in Delta state despite the defection of major figures to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Muhammad declared his support for the party’s stakeholders in Delta and vowed to contribute to the PDP’s victories in the upcoming elections.
The governor made the remarks when he hosted a delegation of Deltans who paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Bauchi. Chief Edwin Olley and Hon. Micheal Tidi Esq, the immediate Chairman of Warri South Local Government of Delta State, led the delegation

According to the statement, Governor Bala described the duo as “true party men” and “original founding members” of the PDP in Delta who have played pivotal roles in ensuring the party’s growth, stability, and electoral victories over the years.
He commended their steadfast loyalty to the PDP, especially in resisting the lure of political cross-carpeting.
“The PDP is a party of the people, built on enduring ideals and national unity,” the governor said. “We will continue to stand by committed members like you to ensure our party remains strong, vibrant, and the choice of Nigerians.”
He assured them that as Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, he would continue to support dedicated party members across the country in sustaining the PDP’s vision and mission.
Speaking, Chief Olley and Dr. Tidi hailed Governor Bala’s exemplary leadership, describing him as a unifying pillar whose guidance has been instrumental to the party’s survival and relevance.
