Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwanga North State Constituency, Nasarawa State, have unanimously passed a vote of confidence on Hon. Larry Ven-Bawa, the member representing the constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, commending his performance and affirming their readiness to endorse him for a second term ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The party leaders also resolved to formally endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term and Governor Abdullahi Sule for the Nasarawa North Senatorial seat in the coming election cycle.

This resolution was made public during a strategic stakeholders meeting held in Andaha, Akwanga Local Government Area, and conveyed by the convener and coordinator of the group, Hon. Mohammed B. Sameel, a former Commissioner One of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).

According to Hon. Sameel, the decision to endorse President Tinubu, Governor Sule, House of Representatives member Hon. Dr. Jeremiah Umaru (Akwanga/Nassarawa Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency), and Hon. Larry Ven-Bawa, stems from their outstanding performance and impactful representation.

> “We are here today to consolidate unity within our party in Akwanga North and to step down the resolutions of the Akwanga LGA and Nasarawa North APC Zonal meetings which have already endorsed President Tinubu for a second term and Governor Sule for Senate in 2027,” Sameel declared.

> “It is our collective decision to formally endorse them alongside Reps JJ Umaru and Hon. Larry Ven-Bawa for 2027. Their achievements speak volumes,” he added.
