Senator I. D. Gyang is deeply saddened by the horror of terror which was visited upon Bindi village, Ta-Hoss community of Riyom local government the night of Tuesday 15/7/25 gruesomely killing 27 persons, the aged, youth and infants alike.Senator Gyang condemned the inhumanity and brutality being exhibited by the attackers and considers it a crime against humanity.
Senator Gyang cautions that if the audacity, wantonness and unrelenting nature of the attacks on host communities is not arrested and stopped forthwith by the security agencies, the entire Riyom local government is on its way of being overun for forceful occupation as a conquered territory and new found homeland for the invaders, many of whom are aliens.
Senator Gyang said peace is imperilled anytime a Nigerian citizen or community falls to the bullets of terror. Governments at all levels have the constitutional responsibility to secure citizens and communities across the length and breath of the nation.
Senator Gyang also holds that impumity and lawlessness thrive and are emboldened whenever the law shies away from decisive and dispassionate enforcement.
