The Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danla
di, on Saturday, represented His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Governor of Nasarawa State, at the coronation and official presentation of staff of office to His Royal Highness, Ambassador (Dr.) Yahaya Kwande II, held in Kwande, Quan’an-Pan Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The event, marked by cultural splendour and royal dignity, brought together traditional and political leaders from across the country. Barr. Danladi conveyed Governor Sule’s goodwill message and reaffirmed the governor’s commitment to strengthening inter-state unity, respect for traditional institutions, and upholding peace across the North Central region.
The Nasarawa State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governing Board Chairman of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), Hon. Aliyu Bello, PhD, was also in attendance, accompanied by family members, including his elder brother, Alh. Yahaya Bello. Their presence was notable, given their familial ties to the celebrant, HRH Amb. (Dr.) Yahaya Kwande II.
Other prominent personalities at the ceremony included the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang; Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Na’anlong Gapyil Daniel; His Majesty Da Jacob Gyang Buba, CFR, Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman of the Plateau State Traditional Council of Chiefs and Emirs; and Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I, Chairman of the Nasarawa State Traditional Council of Chiefs.
Also former Governors of Plateau state, Sir fidelis Tapgun, Brigadier General Aliyu kama and Simon Bako Lalong were also in attendance
The coronation ceremony was widely described as a symbol of continuity and unity, bringing together leaders from different political and ethnic backgrounds in honour of tradition and legacy.
