The Inter Party Advisory Council IPAC Chairman, Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantelle has advised Professor Pat Utomi to allow the hard won and return to democracy 26 years ago to thrive, and not to overheat the polity over shadow government, saying the system and practice is alien.

While acknowledging his contributions towards the democratic practices since the the first republic and global contributions, he stated that introducing a shadow government will erode his giant contributions.

Dantelle who stated this on a Channel television interview, One on One program , Political Paradigm 'warned on the consequences of introducing any other government aside the one won through the democratic evolution, popular endorsement and practices.

While commending President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for sustaining the country's democratic practices inspite some hitches, he said Nigeria prefers democratic governance were collective practices shall continue to thrive rather than individual ideas.

He asked Nigerians to rise against any counter government that will not be the will of the people, stating that Nigeria still practice democracy with 19 existing political parties.

Dantelle said any attempt to drag Nigeria backwards through any form of government will affect the hard earned success of over two decades.

He urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to continue to protect the tenets of democracy through genuine leadership, not minding any form of distractions, stating that democratic practices is the best form of government Nigeria should protect.

IPAC according to Dantelle will continue to protect the existence and coordination of 19 political parties, for ease of democratic governance in the country, particularly at the state and federal level.
