In a significant political development, former Minister of Environment and Magajin Garin Uke, His Excellency Barr. Mohammed H. Abdullahi, CON, has formally resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a letter dated 1st June 2025 and addressed to the APC Chairman of Uke Ward in Karu Local Government Area, Abdullahi stated that his decision to quit the party was based on personal reasons.
He expressed appreciation for the support and cooperation he enjoyed during his time with the party, noting that together they had made "modest contributions in building the party in the state."
The letter, which was also copied to the State Chairman and Karu LGA APC Chairman, concluded with Abdullahi wishing the party and its leadership good luck in their future endeavors.
Mohammed H. Abdullahi’s resignation marks a notable moment in Nasarawa politics, given his influence as a former federal minister and grassroots leader.
