The Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barrister Isaac Danladi, was among top government functionaries present as the Acting Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe inaugurated the Central Planning Committee for the forthcoming official visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the state.
The event, which took place in Lafia, marked a major step in preparations for President Tinubu’s expected visit to commission key developmental projects executed under the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule.
Dr. Akabe, who is also the chairman of the central planning committee (CPC), inaugurated the committee on behalf of Governor Sule and charged members to ensure meticulous planning and execution to make the visit smooth and successful.
The Acting Governor emphasized that the President’s visit is not only historic but also a significant opportunity to showcase the achievements of the state government.
In addition to the central committee, Where the Honourable Attorney General/Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi is a member, several sub-committees were constituted, each assigned specific responsibilities ranging from protocol, logistics, security, media, and public engagement. Chairpersons for the sub-committees were also announced, with clear mandates to coordinate efforts within their domains. The Attorney General/Commissioner for Justice also serves as a member of the Security sub- committee.
The committee is expected to swing into action immediately, as anticipation grows across Nasarawa State for the President’s visit, which will highlight various completed infrastructure projects and new initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the citizens.
