CP Abdullahi Elleman Seeks Collaboration with Journalists for a Crime-Free Niger State

The Commissioner of Police in Niger state,CP Abdullahi Adamu Elleman,has requested a collaboration with Journalists in the state to ensure a crime free Niger State.

He promised a cordial working relationship with practicing Journalists in the state for free flow of Informations that will expose criminal activities in Niger State.

The Commissioner also told Journalists to always feel free to walk in to his office with useful information that will assist the command to perform its statutory police duty of the Protection of lives and properties of the citizens.

CP Adamu Elleman made this known while on courtesy visit to the Niger State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Niger State Council Dr Abu Anyonmegu Nmadu at IBB Pen house in Minna, Thursday.

According to the Police Commissioner, Journalists as a critical stakeholders in information dissemination, his command will continue to partner, synergize, and collaborate with working Journalists in Niger state for his command to realize his mandatory duty of effective policing of the state.

He pointed out police and the media practitioners are partner in ensuring crime free society which informed his decision to come down to visit Journalists in the state.stressing that he will not under any guise compromise the importance of Journalists.

" My visit to this place is for me to establish a cordial working relationship with you people.And to also have interface with working Journalists in Niger State.

"As a critical stakeholders in Information dissemination, I'm here to familiarize myself with Journalists in Niger State. I love journalists.and I Will 
like to partner with you to ensure crime free Niger State" he told Journalists.

Speaking earlier,the Chairman of the Niger State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Dr. Abu Anyonmegu Nmadu, expressed deligh with the Commissioner of Police for finding time out of his tight schedule to visit the council.

He described the visit of the Commissioner as the first Commissioner of Police to visit Journalists in the Press Centre assuring that Journalists in Niger State will continue to market the operational activities of the Command.

" CP Sir.your visit to our Press Centre is a complete manifestation of your commitment to partner with working Journalists in the state. 

" You are the first Commissioner of Police that visit us in this place. On our own part,as Journalists we will market you to the world for people to know that you and your men are safeguarding the lives and properties of the people of Niger State" he promised the Commissioner of Police.

Dr.Abu Anyonmegu Nmadu, told the Commissioner of Police that his members (Journalists) in Niger State are well behaved and Professional in their reportage assuring that they will never deviate in abiding by the ethical norm in their responsibility.
