FRSC Redeploys Dahunsi to Oyo, Appoints Kayode-Oni as New Benue Sector Commander
Command assures continuity in road safety reforms, urges public support for safer motoring environment

MAKURDI
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Benue Sector Command, has announced the appointment of Corps Commander Victory Kayode-Oni as the new Sector Commander following the redeployment of Corps Commander Kehinde S. Dahunsi to Oyo State.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday in Makurdi by the Command’s Public Education and Protocol Officer, Ngozi Grace Ahula.
According to the statement, Kayode-Oni is expected to consolidate on the existing achievements of the Command while strengthening road safety operations, enhancing public enlightenment campaigns, and deepening stakeholder engagement across the state.
Ahula noted that Dahunsi has been redeployed to the Oyo Sector Command where he will continue to serve in the same capacity as Sector Commander.
She described Dahunsi’s tenure in Benue as impactful, marked by dedication, professionalism, and notable contributions to road safety administration in the state.
The Command reassured the public of its continued commitment to safer roads through effective leadership and strategic initiatives aimed at reducing traffic crashes and improving compliance with road safety regulations.
The FRSC also urged members of the public to sustain their support for the Corps’ efforts in creating a safer motoring environment for all road users.
