The Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danladi, on Tuesday led senior officials of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lafia Branch, on a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barr. 
Labaran Magaji, to express gratitude for the state government’s unwavering support during the recently concluded NBA Bar Week.

While the Attorney General led the delegation.

The NBA Lafia Branch Chairman, Barr. Alaku Dennis Dauda, who spoke on behalf of the group. Barr. Dauda commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his active involvement and support that greatly contributed to the success of the event.

“We are profoundly grateful to His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, and the SSG for their continuous backing of the NBA Lafia Branch. The governor’s presence at the Bar Week reaffirmed his commitment to justice and the rule of law in Nasarawa State,” the chairman said.

Barr. Dauda also expressed appreciation for Governor Sule’s approval of a bus for the association, which is expected to ease transportation challenges faced by legal practitioners once released.

 “We welcome this generous approval and look forward to its prompt release, which will significantly enhance our mobility and operational efficiency. We appreciate the governor’s gesture and pledge to continue fostering a strong partnership with the state government,” he added.

Other officials who accompanied the Attorney General and chairman included Barr. Nicholas James Abundaga, Secretary of the NBA Lafia Branch, and Barr. Abdullahi Shuaibu Gayam, Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee of the Bar Week.

In his remarks, the SSG, Barr. Labaran Magaji, reiterated the administration’s commitment to supporting the legal profession as a cornerstone for good governance and the protection of citizens' rights.
