The Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Primary Health Development Agency (NAPHDA), Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, has reaffirmed his commitment to elevating the agency's performance in alignment with the health policy of Governor Abdullahi Sule. Dr. Saleh made this known during a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Nasarawa State chapter, Hon. Safiyanu Isa Andaha, in Akwanga yesterday.
During the visit, Dr. Saleh emphasized the agency’s resolve to enhance healthcare delivery across the state. He highlighted that the visit aimed to foster collaboration between NAPHDA and ALGON to address the health needs of the people effectively.
He also noted that the partnership would leverage the recently granted autonomy to local governments to achieve the health-related goals of Governor Sule’s administration.
In his response, Hon. Andaha welcomed the NAPHDA delegation and assured them of ALGON's full support.
He reiterated ALGON's dedication to prioritizing the health and well-being of Nasarawa residents, stating that no effort or resource would be spared in assisting NAPHDA to fulfill its statutory mandate.
