Akwanga has a mountain to climb in the second half as they seek to overturn the deficit and keep their hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive.
Meanwhile, Karu and Toto battled to a 1-1 draw after full time, sending their match into a penalty shootout to determine who advances to the next round of the competition.
The outcome will be decided by penalties as both teams fight for a place in the semi-finals.
