EFCC Chairman Olukoyede Orders Investigation into N15 Million Bribery Allegations by Bobrisky

The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has directed an immediate investigation into bribery allegations raised by Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, in a viral video shared nationwide. The video, which was further amplified by Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, alleged that some unidentified EFCC officers accepted a bribe of N15 million from Bobrisky to drop money laundering charges against him.

In swift response, Mr. Olukoyede has constituted a team of investigators to thoroughly examine the allegations. The EFCC has officially invited both Bobrisky and Otse to appear at its Lagos Directorate to provide information that will aid the investigation.

The Commission has reassured the public that the investigation will be transparent, and the findings will be made public. The EFCC remains firmly committed to upholding its core values of integrity, professionalism, courage, and collaboration.
