Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has called on security chiefs in the state to intensify efforts in securing the lives and properties of the citizens. In a high-level meeting held on Monday, 2nd September 2024, the Governor expressed concern over the increasing criminal activities in the state capital, urging the security agencies to take decisive actions.
"Tell me what you need, I shall provide them so we can secure our people and their properties. Unfortunately, some of the criminal activities we only hear of in distant places are creeping into our state capital.
We cannot afford to be complacent. We will seek support and do all it takes to safeguard our people," Governor Sule asserted.
The meeting underscored the government's commitment to bolstering security across the state, particularly in areas witnessing a rise in criminal activities.
Governor Sule reaffirmed his administration's readiness to provide the necessary resources to ensure the safety of all residents.
