Alhaji Saidu Suleiman Takuma, brother of Alhaji Abubakar Suleiman Takuma, a Director in the Federal Civil Service, (both of whom are sons of the late Alhaji Suleiman Takuma) has distanced himself and the entire Suleiman Takuma family from one Abubakar Abubakar Gabi, who is also from Takuma. for going about and parading himself as Abubakar Suleiman Takuma, claiming to be that which he isn’t, as such impersonating the Director.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by Alhaji Saidu Suleiman Takuma and made available to newsmen in Minna Monday.
The statement noted that the said Abubakar Abubakar Gabi Takuma is a distant relative, who for over ten years, has been falsely and illegally parading himself and illegally using the name of one of his younger brothers, who is a Director in the office of the Secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria (SFGN).
It further stated that Alhaji Abubakar Suleiman Takuma has put in over twenty-five years in the service of his fatherland without any blemish, but with hardwork and commitment has put in over 25 years of dedicated service to this country.
" And in that time, has built a reputation of integrity, of competence and commitment to service" the statement asserted.
The statement explained that ‘the statement’ was aimed at clearing the impression that Alhaji Abubakar Suleiman Takuma is debtor and he is on the run, a molester and dishonest individual.
" This is the reason why I find it necessary to address the matter of identity theft and correct the misinformation being circulated that Alhaji Abubakar Suleiman Takuma, my brother is a debtor on the run, a molester and a dishonest individual"
It added that these accusations are being said about the said Abubakar Abubakar Gabi Takuma.
It further extended a word of advice to those that have co-opted their father's name illegally to desist henceforth.
He warned that the said Abubakar Abubakar Gabi should revert back to his original paternal names for "all our sakes, because if I'm to come across such misbehavior in the future, I will not hesitate to call out the offending individual and correct the misinformation"…
