As the Eid-el Kabir celebrations approach, the Nasarawa State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Umar Shehu Nadada, has taken extensive measures to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for all residents and visitors. A total of 4,500 police operatives have been deployed across the state to provide continuous security coverage. These deployments include strategic locations such as shopping malls, motor parks, financial institutions, places of worship, recreational centers, and other key points.
In addition to the visible security presence, undercover operatives have been assigned to gather intelligence at various strategic locations. Intensive patrols will be maintained on highways to ensure the safety of travelers during the festive period.
Commissioner of Police Umar Shehu Nadada extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Nasarawa State, joining the global Muslim community in celebrating Eid-el Kabir. He reassured the public of the police and other security agencies' commitment to maintaining adequate security throughout the celebration.
