TANIMU SALIHU SARKIN DAWAKI MAI TUTA WAMBA: A NEW VOICE IN NASARAWA’S 2027 GOVERNORSHIP RACE

The political landscape of Nasarawa State continues to witness major developments ahead of the 2027 general elections as Alhaji Tanimu Salihu Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta Wamba officially declares his intention to contest for the governorship seat under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
The governorship hopeful made his intention known while speaking with journalists, where he expressed confidence in his capacity to provide purposeful leadership and reposition Nasarawa State for greater development and prosperity.
According to him, the decision to join the race was born out of his passion for service, commitment to the people, and determination to address the developmental challenges confronting the state.
“I will contest under the SDP, and I am optimistic of victory in the 2027 governorship election,” he stated.
Tanimu Salihu Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta Wamba noted that the people of Nasarawa State deserve inclusive governance, economic growth, youth empowerment, improved infrastructure, and better opportunities for all citizens irrespective of political affiliation.
He further assured that his administration, if elected, would prioritize transparency, accountability, agriculture, education, healthcare, and human capital development in line with the aspirations of the people.
Political observers believe his entrance into the race has added a fresh dimension to the unfolding political permutations ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Nasarawa State.
Supporters and loyalists across different parts of the state have continued to express optimism that his candidacy under the SDP will provide a strong alternative platform capable of reshaping the political future of Nasarawa State.
