The Okpe Union will commemorate its 94th anniversary at the Okpe Union House in Obalende, Lagos.

Patrick Akpotor, Chairman of the 94th Anniversary Committee, emphasized the significance of this occasion, urging attendees to reflect on the progress made and the ongoing commitment to addressing the development needs of the Okpe Kingdom.
Established in 1930, the Okpe Union serves as a unifying force for the Okpe people, advocating for solutions to the kingdom's issues and spearheading programs for its advancement. Over the years, the Union has played a pivotal role in driving development and attracting investment to Okpe Kingdom while fostering accountable leadership within the region.
The anniversary program will highlight the promotion of Okpe culture and language, particularly emphasizing their importance to both children and adults.
Additionally, the gathering will address policy implementation and accountability, with a specific focus on Delta State.
