The 2nd Edition of the Nasarawa Investment Summit commenced with a grand opening session attended by distinguished personalities from various sectors. The summit, held under the theme
"The Industrial Renaissance," was inaugurated by the representation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, with the Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, taking charge.
Among the notable attendees were Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties in the office of the Vice President, Aliyu Modibo, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, Deputy Secretary of the UN Amina Mohammed GCON (attending via Zoom), esteemed economist Prof. Pat Utomi, along with members of the National Assembly, ministers, and other influential figures.
The summit facilitated a convergence of industry leaders and government agency heads across international, federal, and sub-national levels. Over the course of two days, attendees will engage in discussions and initiatives aimed at fostering industrial growth and investment opportunities within Nasarawa State and beyond.
The event is set to conclude tomorrow, May 16th, promising to leave a significant impact on the region's economic landscape.
