Nasarawa state Deputy Governor Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, has reaffirmed his commitment to revitalizing banking services in Doma Local Government Council.
Addressing a committee appointed by the Andoma of Doma to restore banking activities in the region.
Dr. Akabe pledged to advocate for the establishment of commercial institutions, emphasizing the significance of financial accessibility for residents.
He assured stakeholders of his support and vowed to liaise with Governor Abdullahi Sule to establish a government account in the proposed UBA branch in Doma.
The committee, led by Chairman Ambassador Henry Omaku, expressed optimism and highlighted progress in establishing contacts with potential partners.
Ambassador Omaku also signaled the committee's openness to exploring opportunities for microfinance banks in Doma, underscoring their dedication to the community's economic development.
