In a landmark development for Aba, the Aba Geometric Power Integrated Company is set to commission a groundbreaking electricity plant on Monday. Following the commissioning, the company will initiate the distribution of uninterrupted power supply to residents within the Aba mega city, spanning across nine local government areas.

Distinguished as the first electricity company in Nigeria to both generate and distribute power independently through gas, Aba Geometric Power Integrated Company will effectively detach Aba from the national grid. The company has strategically laid a pipeline to facilitate the distribution of gas from Awaza to their station in Osisioma, ensuring a seamless power supply process.

With these advancements, there is an overwhelming 99% certainty that Aba will soon enjoy uninterrupted electricity round the clock, significantly enhancing the lives of its residents and catalyzing economic growth in the region.
