By Suleiman Abubakar Rimi Uku
As part of activities marking the 30th anniversary of the creation of Nasarawa State, the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. Isaac Danladi, has joined the Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, and other dignitaries at a special church service held in thanksgiving and prayer for the state and Nigeria.
The service was organised as part of programmes lined up to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Nasarawa State, which was created on October 1, 1996.
The occasion provided an opportunity for government officials and other stakeholders to come together in thanksgiving, while offering prayers for peace, unity, prosperity and continued development of the state.
Danladi, alongside the Deputy Governor and other dignitaries, participated in prayers seeking God's guidance and protection for the leadership and people of Nasarawa State.
Prayers were also offered for Nigeria, with emphasis on peace, stability, unity and sustainable development across the country.
The anniversary celebration has continued to feature activities designed to reflect on Nasarawa State's journey over the past three decades, recognise its achievements and renew the commitment of stakeholders towards its continued growth and development.
The 30th anniversary therefore serves as both a moment of thanksgiving and an opportunity to look ahead to the future of the state and its people.
