SPEAKER ABBASS FLAGS OFF DISTRIBUTION OF FERTILIZER TO HIS CONSTITUENT, OTHERS

The speaker House of Representatives, Rt Hon Dr Abbass Tajudeen, Iyan Zazzau has flagged distribution of 100 Trailers Fertilizer to the people of his immediate Constituency and other 7 Local Government area within Kaduna State under the Northern Senatorial District on Saturday at Filin Mallawa in Zaria Local Government.
Our Correspondent reports 26,000 people will benefit from phase 3 agricultural intervention of which is aimed at boosting agricultural production and ensure food security initiated by the Speaker.
Speaking the occasion, Dr Abbass Tajuddeen said that this farming season the intervention was only for 13 political ward that constituted Zaria federal constituency he representing but was expanded to other 7 Local Government ares with the Senatorial district in order to have food sufficiency or security.
He pointed out that the elected officials at either federal level, State and local Government areas and all APC candidates of various positions within the Senatorial district would also be considered in intervention for onward distribution to their supporters and loved ones.
The Speaker warned members and Supporters of APC to shun gossip and hypocrisy among them as it would not down well with the party.
He called on them to focus on what would bring unity and understanding among all members of the party not only in Zaria but the entire State .
Dr Abbass denied the rumour that he was in rift with the state Governor, Senator Uba Sani, adding that their existing personal and working relationship was and would continue to be cordial.
He therefore appealed them to be loyalists to the party and protect its interest any time and every where
