As Turakin Keffi and former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu clocks 80 years today, the Immediate Past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has described him as an asset to the State and the Country at large and wished him more rewarding years ahead.
This, Balarabe Abdullahi said the former National Chairman of APC as the first democratically elected Governor of Nasarawa State Sen. Abdullahi Adamu laid the solid foundation for the growth and development of the State and its citizens.
This was contained in a statement personally signed by Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi today Thursday and made available to Newsmen in Lafia the Nasarawa State capital.
The statement felicitates with Senator Abdullahi Adamu as he marks 80th birthday and prayed God to continued to give him more of sound health, wisdom, long life and prosperity to continue to contribute positively to the development of the State, the Country and humanity in general.
Balarabe Abdullahi, who holds the traditional tittle of Wali Opanda said the Turakin Keffi, Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the first Executive Governor of Nasarawa State laid a solid foundation for the development of the State that posterity will continue to judge him right and history will never forget him.
"He has done great in empowering the people, he has done well for humanity, thus created wealth and enhanced growth among citizens" the statement said.
"He is a great leader, a bridge builder, an icon of the people, a pillar and role model, we will continue to stand by him, pray for him and support him as our political leader" Balarabe said.
Balarabe Abdullahi described the former Governor of the State and former National Chairman of APC as a bridge builder, political icon and a mentor whom contributions to the State, the Country and humanity will forever remain indelible.
He emphasized that Sen. Adamu is the brain behind the educational advancement in the young Nasarawa State when it was created by laying a solid and conducive educational environment for the citizens among other innovations.
Balarabe Abdullahi prayed God to continue to give Senator Abdullahi Adamu more of sound health, long life, wisdom and protection as well as always guide him in the right ways to provide positive decisions and directions for the generality of the people.
