Following the recent reshuffle of the Nasarawa State Executive Council by Governor Abdullahi Sule, political associates, friends, and well-wishers of former Keffi Local Government Chairman and former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor, Hon. Mohammed Baba Shehu, have appealed to the governor to consider him for appointment as commissioner representing Keffi.

The supporters described Hon. Baba Shehu as a loyal party stalwart with a proven record of service, commitment, and grassroots mobilization, saying his appointment would further strengthen governance and ensure effective representation for the Keffi area.

They expressed confidence in his capacity to contribute meaningfully to the administration's development agenda and urged Governor Sule to consider him in the interest of equity, competence, and continued political inclusiveness.

The group also reaffirmed its support for Governor Sule's administration and expressed optimism that the governor would make appointments that reflect fairness, merit, and the aspirations of the people.

Political stakeholders from Keffi Local Government Area noted that Hon. Mohammed Baba Shehu had remained steadfast in supporting the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule and the All Progressives Congress (APC), even after serving in various capacities.

They said his experience in public administration and grassroots politics has positioned him as a suitable candidate to serve in the State Executive Council.

The supporters further appealed to Governor Sule to consider competence, dedication, and loyalty in filling vacant positions in the cabinet, expressing confidence that appointing Hon. Baba Shehu as Commissioner would enhance inclusive governance and accelerate the delivery of democratic dividends to the people of Keffi and Nasarawa State at large.
