Nasarawa CAN Election: Veteran Journalist Samson Osuko Set to Clinch Chairmanship Seat

Veteran journalist Samson Osuo is poised to emerge as the next Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Nasarawa State Chapter, following his clearance by the CAN Electoral Committee ahead of the association's chairmanship election.
Osuo was nominated by his bloc and subsequently screened by the Electoral Committee, which cleared him to contest the election unopposed.
The CAN election is scheduled to hold at the CAN Secretariat in Lafia, where delegates are expected to elect a new leadership to pilot the affairs of the association in the state.
Although there have been reports of efforts by some interests to alter the outcome of the nomination process, supporters of Osuo have expressed confidence that the election will be conducted peacefully, transparently and in accordance with the association's constitution.
Church leaders, colleagues, and well-wishers have continued to rally support for the veteran journalist, expressing optimism that his wealth of experience, leadership qualities and commitment to service will further strengthen unity and cooperation among Christians in Nasarawa State.
The outcome of the election is expected to usher in a new chapter for the Christian Association of Nigeria in the state.
