The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has commended a group of law students for their dedication, discipline and professionalism following the successful completion of a five-week externship programme at the Nasarawa State Ministry of Justice in Lafia.

Speaking while receiving the students at his office on Thursday, Barr. Danladi expressed satisfaction with their performance and conduct throughout the training, describing their commitment as commendable and encouraging.

He urged the aspiring legal practitioners to remain focused on their studies, pursue academic excellence and uphold the ethics of the legal profession. 

He also advised them to make effective use of the practical knowledge and experience acquired during the externship as they prepare for their future careers.

According to the Attorney General, the legal profession demands integrity, diligence and continuous learning, urging the students to remain worthy ambassadors of their respective institutions.

Barr. Danladi wished the students success in their academic pursuits and future professional endeavours.

Speaking on behalf of the externs, the team leader, Ugboga Reuben Friday, expressed profound appreciation to the Attorney General for providing them with the opportunity to acquire practical legal experience under the mentorship of seasoned legal practitioners at the ministry.

He described the externship as a rewarding learning experience that had broadened their understanding of legal practice and justice administration.

Friday assured the Attorney General that the knowledge and skills acquired during the programme would be effectively utilised in promoting the rule of law and strengthening the administration of justice in Nigeria.

Other officials present at the event included the Deputy Director, Ode Umm-Kulthum Ende, Abdullahi Safiyanu, Abdulhamid Sakwat Al-Kasim and Samuel Oluwusunya.
