The remarkable humanitarian contributions of the former National Vice President of Miyyeti Allah Cattle Breeder Association of Nigeria (MACBAN),Alhaji Hussaini Yusuf Bosso (Ardon Paiko) took centre stage as stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State gathered to promote unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The event, organised by the Political Appointees' Forum of Paikoro Local Government Chapter, featured a Tea Talk and Award Ceremony with the theme, "Political Unity: 2027 General Election in Focus." It brought together party leaders, government officials and stakeholders to foster reconciliation, strengthen party cohesion and mobilise members for future electoral success.
A major highlight of the occasion was the presentation of the Humanitarian Service Award to Alhaji Hussaini Yusuf Bosso in recognition of his outstanding commitment to humanitarian activities, peacebuilding and community development across Paikoro Local Government Area.
Receiving the award, Bosso expressed gratitude to the organisers, describing the honour as a motivation to expand his humanitarian efforts and continue supporting vulnerable members of society.
He pledged to sustain initiatives that promote peace, unity and social development, while calling on political leaders and stakeholders to always place the welfare of the people above personal and political interests.
Bosso noted that meaningful development could only be achieved when leaders remain committed to selfless service and work together to address the needs of their communities.
Speaking at the event, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada, urged APC members to remain united, describing unity as the party's greatest strength and the key to victory in the 2027 general elections.
He said the APC leadership was committed to reconciling aggrieved members and strengthening the party ahead of future elections, adding that a united party would be better positioned to consolidate on the achievements of the current administration at both the state and national levels.
Ambassador Dada also commended the organisers for providing a platform that promotes dialogue, reconciliation and internal harmony within the party.
Also speaking, the Niger State Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change, Abubakar Musa, said the developmental projects being executed across the state demonstrated the APC-led government's commitment to improving the lives of citizens.
He urged party members to remain focused, united and committed to ensuring the party's continued success in future elections.
Earlier, the Chairman of Paikoro Local Government, Honourable Aminu Umar, commended the Political Appointees' Forum for organising the programme, saying it would further strengthen unity among party members and provide an avenue for dialogue and reconciliation.
He expressed confidence that the renewed spirit of cooperation within the party would enhance the APC's chances of recording victories from the grassroots to the national level in the 2027 general elections.
The event also recognised other distinguished personalities for their contributions to the growth and development of Paikoro Local Government, with Bosso's Humanitarian Service Award standing out as a tribute to his enduring dedication to community service and the welfare of the people.
