Nasarawa Attorney General Urges Law Students to Embrace Commitment, Professionalism During Externship

The Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has urged law students undergoing their externship at the Ministry of Justice to remain committed, disciplined, and dedicated to the legal profession.
Barr. Danladi gave the charge while receiving the students at his office in the Justice House, Lafia, where they officially commenced their externship programme.
He encouraged the students to take advantage of the practical training to deepen their understanding of legal practice and uphold the ethics of the profession.
Earlier, the Director of Public Defender and Gender Violence, Barr. Halima Hudu Abubakar, welcomed the students and charged them to demonstrate diligence, integrity, and professionalism throughout their attachment at the ministry.
Also speaking, former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Bwari Branch, Abuja, and Notary Public, Barr. Monday Adjeh, shared professional insights with the students, encouraging them to remain focused on academic excellence and ethical legal practice.
Speaking on behalf of the students, the team leader, Jir Almahdi Mohammed of the Abuja Campus, expressed appreciation to the Attorney General and the management of the Ministry of Justice for the warm reception and the opportunity to gain practical legal experience in Nasarawa State.
The students participating in the externship programme include Ode Umm-Kulthum Ende (Lagos Campus), Abdullahi Umar Ladan (Abuja Campus), Samuel Oluwusunya (Abuja Campus), Ugboga Reuben Akiwa (Port Harcourt Campus), Adek Abednego Ada (Bayelsa Campus), Ishaya Yosi Kpanna (Enugu Campus), Safiya Abdullahi (Port Harcourt Campus), Abubakar Zainab Otusha (Abuja Campus), Usman Hassana Yahaya (Abuja Campus), and Asmau Sani Dole (Yola Campus).
The externship programme is designed to expose law students to practical legal procedures and enhance their professional development through hands-on experience in the justice sector.
