The latest reduction reflects a N10 decrease per litre, following an earlier cut of N15 on November 28, 2025.

Price Cuts Driven by Market Competition — IPMAN

Speaking on the development, the spokesperson of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Chinedu Ukadike, said Nigerians should expect further drops in petrol prices as competition intensifies among major operators in the downstream sector.

Ukadike explained that deregulation has opened the market, forcing players to review prices in response to supply dynamics and competition.
