In recognition of his outstanding professionalism, integrity, and commitment to justice administration, Nasarawa State Social Media Influencers have honoured the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. (Barr.) Isaac Danladi, with an Award of Excellence for exemplary leadership in public service.
The event, held at the Ministry of Justice in Lafia, brought together prominent members of the association and top officials from the state, who described the honour as a well-deserved tribute to Barr. Danladi’s contributions to justice reform, legal innovation, and good governance in Nasarawa State.
Speaking while receiving the award, the Attorney General expressed deep appreciation to the association for the recognition and reaffirmed his commitment to upholding the rule of law and strengthening justice delivery mechanisms in the state.
“I am highly delighted to receive you this morning. Because of the premium I place on this association, I had to put aside all that I was supposed to be doing now to attend to you,” he said.
“You have consistently supported government policies with professionalism and decency, unlike some who use social media to intimidate or defame others.
I must commend you for using your platforms responsibly in service to humanity.”
Barr. Danladi, who described the social media influencers as partners in progress, urged them to continue using their platforms to promote truth, correct misinformation, and project the image of the Nasarawa State Government positively.
He further acknowledged the support of His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Alhaji Sule, for sustaining a collaborative and transparent relationship between government institutions and digital media practitioners, noting that the Ministry of Justice has undergone significant digital transformation under the current administration.
“Our justice system has been digitalized , I can now monitor all lawyers and cases in real time. Soon, even His Excellency will be able to track ongoing cases directly from his office,” he added, emphasizing the government’s commitment to transparency and innovation in justice administration.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of the Nasarawa Social Media Influencers Association, Hon. Ibrahim Orana, outlined the exceptional qualities and achievements that led to Barr. Danladi’s selection for the award.
“The Honourable Attorney General has demonstrated prudence, fairness, and visionary leadership.
His reforms in justice delivery and legal governance continue to strengthen our state’s democratic institutions,” Orana stated.
