The national leadership of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural association, has suspended its state chairmen in Taraba, Bauchi, and Adamawa with immediate effect.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer of the association, Mallam Mohammed Suleiman, and made available to newsmen in Keffi, Nasarawa State.
According to Suleiman, the decision followed a thorough investigation and consideration of several complaints lodged by Fulani pastoralists from the affected states, who expressed dissatisfaction with the performance and conduct of their respective leaders.
“After careful scrutiny and review of numerous complaints, the National President, Alhaji Abdullahi Bodejo, approved the suspension of the following state chairmen — Bammi Bello Jane of Taraba, Muhammed Hussaini Buzaye of Bauchi, and Usman Abubakar Yirlabe of Adamawa — with immediate effect,” the statement read.
The association cited allegations of poor performance, neglect of members’ welfare, and lack of effective representation as reasons for the action. Suleiman noted that the move was aimed at restoring the confidence and trust of members in the association’s leadership.
He further advised all security agencies and relevant stakeholders to desist from engaging with the suspended chairmen, warning that any attempt by the affected individuals to parade themselves as leaders of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore would attract legal action.
“We will not tolerate any action capable of bringing the association into disrepute or undermining its integrity,” Suleiman stressed.
The statement also reaffirmed the National President’s commitment to the welfare of Fulani pastoralists nationwide, assuring members that the association remains dedicated to protecting their interests and promoting peaceful coexistence across the country.
