Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, has officially received Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada back into the All Progressives Congress (APC), reaffirming the party’s unity and strength under the leadership of Dr. Aliyu Bello, the State Chairman.

The reception took place at the Government House in Lafia, where Senator Wadada was led by Dr. Bello and other top party officials. Governor Sule, while addressing party faithful, commended the State Working Committee and Local Government Executives for their steadfastness, dedication, and organizational discipline, noting that their efforts were yielding visible results.

“You have done so much, and not everybody is going to see what you are doing. But what matters is that the right people see it and appreciate it. I am one of those who say thank you,” the Governor said.

Governor Sule congratulated Senator Wadada for his decision to return to the APC, describing it as a demonstration of political maturity and conviction.

“If he wished, Senator Wadada could have stayed in his former party and challenged us. But he chose to join us , and who wouldn’t wish to have a man like Wadada in his fold? I am giving him the broom immediately as a symbol of welcome,” the Governor declared.

The Governor also expressed appreciation to members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly who recently rejoined the APC, noting that the party’s representation had grown significantly from nine to fifteen members.

He reflected on the party’s internal challenges in the past, acknowledging that lessons had been learned and that focus must remain on rebuilding and reconciliation.

Turning to the national political scene, Governor Sule praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his courageous economic reforms and visionary leadership, crediting him for uniting the progressive movement across Nigeria.

“Every time the Progressive Governors meet, we are welcoming new members into our party , from governors to senators. This is happening because people see that APC under President Tinubu is steering Nigeria in the right direction,” he emphasized.

The Governor concluded by reaffirming that the APC remains the party of the present and the future, adding that “those who align with truth and progress are returning home.”

He hinted that the wave of reconciliation and unity within the APC would set the tone for victory in 2027, urging supporters to remain loyal, vigilant, and confident in the party’s vision for Nasarawa State and Nigeria.
