The former Chairman of Doma Local Government Council, Arc. Ahmad Sarki Usman, has officially resigned from his position as Senior Special Assistant to the Nasarawa State Governor on Works, Housing, and Transport.
In a resignation letter dated October 9, 2025, Arc. Usman expressed profound appreciation to His Excellency, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, for the opportunity to serve in his administration.
He also commended the Governor’s leadership style and developmental strides across the state.
While pledging his continued loyalty and support to the Governor and the All Progressives Congress (APC), Arc. Usman stated that his decision followed a personal discussion with Governor Sule.
He explained that his resignation was informed by personal affiliation with former Inspector General of Police, and in compliance with the directive issued, emphasizing that the move was made in the best interest of the people of Nasarawa State.
The former Doma Council boss reaffirmed his commitment to the peace, unity, and progress of the state, assuring that he remains a dedicated supporter of the administration’s vision for sustainable development.
