The Speaker house of Representatives Dr Abbas Tajudeen, Iyan Zazzau has described his Cousin Brother, Alhaji Aminu pate, Wamban Dawakin Zazzau who died at early hours of last Thursday and buried in Zaria City same day as a man of integrity that lived a simple and examplary life.
He passed the information when he said paid a condolence visit to his relations and loved ones at his family house in Zaria City at the wkend.
This is contained in a statement that went viral on his Facebook handle yesterday.
The statement read partly "Yesterday, I had the solemn duty of visiting our family house in Zaria to condole with my loved ones on the passing of my dear elder brother, the Wamban Dawakin Zazzau, Alhaji Aminu Pate, who returned to his Creator on Wednesday night and was laid to rest on Thursday according to Islamic rites.
"My brother was more than family – he was a dependable companion, a father figure to many, a pillar of unity, and a man whose life reflected service to Allah, devotion to community, and kindness to humanity.
His integrity and generosity touched countless lives, and his absence has left a painful void in our family and in the Zazzau Emirate.
"As we mourn him, I am comforted by the memories of his purposeful life and enduring faith.
"I deeply appreciate the Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness Amb. Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, former Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, members of the traditional council, religious leaders, friends, and well-wishers who joined us at the family house to offer prayers and words of comfort.
"May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. May He also grant our family the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.
"Alhaji Aminu Pate’s legacy will remain forever in our hearts." It concluded.
