The Executive Chairman of Kokona Local Government Area, Hon. Mike A., alongside his Deputy, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, visited Dari Town for an inspection of the newly completed central mosque.
The inspection was part of final preparations for the official commissioning of the mosque, scheduled to hold tomorrow, Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., Insha’Allah.
Hon. Mike Abawu, expressed delight over the completion of the project, describing the mosque as a major landmark that will serve as a center of spiritual upliftment and unity for the people of Dari and beyond.
He further assured the community of his administration’s continued support for projects that promote peace, religious harmony, and development at the grassroots.
The Deputy Chairman, who accompanied him, also commended the quality of work done on the mosque structure and urged residents to make good use of the facility as a house of worship and a symbol of communal progress.
Community members have expressed excitement ahead of the commissioning, noting that the mosque will not only provide a befitting place of worship but also strengthen the religious and cultural identity of the area.
The event is expected to draw worshippers, traditional rulers, government officials, and clerics from across Kokona LGA and beyond.
