Former NOA DG Dr. Mike Omeri Mourns Late Ex–Deputy Governor Solomon Ewuga, Calls for Immortalisation of His Legacy

The former Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Dr. Mike Omeri Agbo-Omeri, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of Barr. Solomon Ewuga, former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State and one-time Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, who passed away recently in Egypt.

In a condolence message, Dr. Omeri described the late Ewuga as “one of the outstanding sons of Nasarawa State who contributed immensely to its emergence and progress through unwavering faith and compassion.”

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and urged the government and people of Nasarawa State to immortalise Ewuga’s remarkable legacy, noting that his life of service, discipline, and love for humanity stands as an enduring example.

“On behalf of myself, my family and associates, I wish to extend my condolences to the Eggon traditional rulers and people, urging them to find comfort in the enduring legacy of love, discipline, and devotion that the illustrious son of the state faithfully embodied throughout his life,” Omeri said.

While thanking God for what he described as “a life well lived,” Dr. Omeri prayed that the Almighty would grant the bereaved family strength, fortitude, and peace during this difficult period and assured them of his continued prayers and support.
