Former Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Umar Tanko Al-Makura, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Senator Solomon Aku Ewuga, a former Deputy Governor of the state.
In a heartfelt message posted on his official Facebook page, Al-Makura described Ewuga as “my brother, a Distinguished Senator, former Minister of the Federal Republic, and an illustrious son of Nasarawa State.”
“I deeply mourn the passing of my brother, Distinguished Senator Solomon Ewuga, former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, former Minister of the Federal Republic, and Senator who represented Nasarawa North in the 7th Senate.
His loyalty, humility, and invaluable service to our dear state and nation will always be remembered. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” Al-Makura wrote.
The late Senator Ewuga, who also served as a federal minister and represented Nasarawa North Senatorial District in the 7th National Assembly, is remembered for his dedication to the growth and development of both Nasarawa State and Nigeria.
