The Door-to-Door Grassroots Mobilization Network, Nasarawa Western Zone, has appointed the Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, as its State Patron.
The appointment was formally announced when the President of the Network (Western Zone), Hajiya Fatima Ahmed Abubakar, popularly known as Hajiya Fati Door-to-Door, led a high-powered delegation of women leaders to pay a courtesy visit to the Attorney General in his office.
Hajiya Fati, founder of the Door-to-Door Grassroots Network and a prominent advocate of women’s empowerment and social justice, explained that the group carefully selected Barr. Danladi after a thorough assessment of his service to the state and his record of supporting community development.
“We have watched your work closely and found you worthy of this honour. Your capacity, your record of touching lives and your commitment to service make you the right choice as our Patron,” she stated, pledging the group’s readiness to work with him in future political and community development efforts.
Other members of the delegation, including the association’s secretary Cecilia Andrew (popularly known as Mama Kash), also praised Barr. Danladi’s leadership qualities and assured him of the network’s continued support in mobilizing grassroots participation in governance and political processes.
In his response, Barr. Isaac Danladi expressed gratitude for what he described as a rare honour.
“I sincerely appreciate this recognition and will never take it for granted.
I was raised by a woman and I will always value the place of women in nation-building. Your activities promote unity and national development, and I am proud to associate with you,” he said.
The Attorney General called on members of the network to continue to support the present administration under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Sule.
He also assured them of his plan to empower vulnerable persons and widows in the near future, reaffirming his commitment to social welfare and inclusive development.
Barr. Danladi further urged the group to intensify grassroots mobilization for the ongoing voter registration exercise, stressing that broad participation in the electoral process is key to strengthening democracy.
The visit ended with assurances of partnership between the Ministry of Justice and the Door-to-Door Grassroots Mobilization Network to promote social inclusion, women’s empowerment and civic engagement across Nasarawa State.
