The Member representing Keana Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, has pledged continued quality representation, reaffirming his commitment to policies and programmes that directly impact his constituents and Nigerians at large.
Hon. Omadefu, who serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Environment, made the promise while receiving a delegation of his former colleagues from the National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja, in his office at the Assembly Complex in Lafia on Monday.
Addressing the delegation, the lawmaker expressed gratitude for the visit and acknowledged the moral support he has received from them over the years.
“I am happy and delighted over your visit today. I thank you for your prayers, advice, and consistent support,” Omadefu stated.
“I want to assure you and the people of Keana Constituency that I will not fail in my responsibilities. I will continue to make you and my constituents proud by ensuring sound and effective representation.”
He highlighted several projects he has initiated in the areas of education, healthcare, agriculture, and infrastructure, aimed at improving the standard of living of his constituents.
On their part, the leader of the visiting delegation, Mr. Aboh Peter Aboh, said the visit was to reconnect with their former colleague and express solidarity with his political journey.
“We are proud of Hon. Omadefu’s achievements so far, and we assure him of our continued prayers and unwavering support,” Aboh said.
He prayed for divine guidance, protection, and good health for the lawmaker to excel in his leadership responsibilities.
