The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has convened a strategic meeting with Governor Abdullahi Sule’s appointees from Karu aimed at fostering unity, familiarization, and stronger synergy among government officials.
Speaking at the gathering, Barr. Danladi, who is the political head of Karu, said the meeting was convened to create an avenue for appointees to know one another more closely and to build a spirit of collaboration.
He expressed deep appreciation to Governor Sule for finding them worthy to serve in various capacities, describing their appointments as a gesture that must be reciprocated through loyalty and commitment.
“This meeting is about familiarization and unity. We must remain totally submissive to the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule to reciprocate the confidence he has reposed in us.
We also have to show total commitment to the APC, because without the party, none of us would be here,” Danladi stated.
He further emphasized the need to rally behind the Karu Local Government Council Chairman, noting that his performance is already making a positive impact on the people.
“We are watching his activities, which have a direct bearing on our people. He and his entire cabinet deserve our collective support,” he added.
Barr. Danladi also used the platform to urge the people of Karu to participate actively in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise being conducted by INEC. According to him, mass participation in the exercise is vital for strengthening Karu’s political relevance.
“We have to be united and ensure we support the concept of our amiable principal come 2027,” he told the gathering.
Those who attended the meeting included Amb. Timothy Kasuwa, Chairman, Teachers Service Commission (TSC); Hon. Yakubu Bala, Administrator, Karshi Development Area; Dr. Mohammed Isnaila, Director-General, Newmap-EIB; Esv. Enam Rabo Bawan, SSA Greater Karu Development Control; Lawal Yakubu Karshi, SA Public Works; Hon. David Maiyaki Ashayi, SSA Assembly Affairs; and Rakiya Shuaibu Gidagida.
Others also joined the deliberation, underscoring the broad representation of Karu appointees.
The meeting was described by participants as timely and strategic, especially as the state moves toward the political realignments expected ahead of the 2027 elections.
