Alh. M. B. Lawan Congratulates Newly Elected Officials, Urges Them to Uphold Integrity and Justify Confidence
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Chapter of the Keffi Old Boys Association (KOBA) has elected new executive members, with a call from the National President, Alh. Muhammed B. Lawan, for them to live above board and deliver selfless service.
The election, which took place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in Abuja, attracted the presence of KOBA elders and stakeholders, including the National President and other prominent members.
In a statement signed by the KOBA National Secretary and President of the Nasarawa State Chapter, Arch. Umar Shitu, the National President congratulated the newly elected officials on their victories and charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.
Describing their emergence as “well deserved,” Lawan urged the executives to be good ambassadors of KOBA, an association that boasts members both within and outside Nigeria. He assured the new leaders of the full support of the national body in order to help them deliver on their mandates.
The newly elected officials of KOBA FCT Chapter are:

3. Arc. Adamu Umar Jalam – Secretary
4. Mr. M. U. Zulu – Assistant Secretary
5. Mr. Siaka Omoluwa Aniwe – Treasurer
6. Mr. Augustine Ogaba – Financial Secretary
7. Rindap Danjuma Ponmwa – Public Relations Officer (PRO)
8. Bldr. John Kumbin – Auditor
9. Dr. Matthew Ashikeni – Ex-Officio I
10. Barr. John Otanwa – Ex-Officio II
The National President wished the new officials success in their responsibilities and reminded them of the association’s tradition of excellence, unity, and service.
