Islamic Group under the auspices Islamic Movement in Nigeria popularly know as Shi'ite has decried the death of it's 34 members who were killed in a clash between between the group and Security on 25th July, 2014 in Zaria.
Speaking with Journalists at an occasion organized by the group to commemorate the killing of its members in Zaria a front line member of the group and brother to the group's leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-zakzaky, Mallam Badamadi expressed his dissatisfaction on what he term as Extra judicial killing on unarmed innocent members of the Sect by Soldiers on 25th July, 2014.
He said "The Well armed Soldiers under on instruction of One Brigadier General now okon now late who was the Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Nigerian Army Basawa, Zaria then opened fire on our 34 unarmed innocent members 3 of our leader Sheik Ibrahim El-zakzaky's Children inclusive on the Spot who were in processestion commemorating qudus day which we hold at every last Friday of the Month of Ramadan"
Also speaking a Mother, Mallama Muhammad said 2 of her children were brutally killed in the incident.
She pointed out that it was now 11 years but their murder was fresh in her mind.
Mallam Maryam noted that they would stand before God the day of Judgement in the life hereafter with whoever has hand in killing of her innocent children and others.
