The Legislative Arm of Karu Local Government Council, comprising all eleven ward councillors, has paid a solidarity visit to the Hon. Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danladi, in recognition of his exceptional service and unwavering commitment to justice delivery in the state.
Led by the Speaker of the Council, Alhaji Prince Abubakar Abdulmalik, the lawmakers commended the Attorney General for his bold and progressive legal reforms, describing him as a beacon of integrity and accountability in the legal architecture of Nasarawa State.
While speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Speaker stated that the purpose of the visit was to show support and solidarity with Barr. Danladi, whose dedication to promoting justice and strengthening democratic institutions has earned the admiration of not just the legal community but also grassroots leaders across the state.
“We are here to identify with the Hon. Attorney General and to express our gratitude for his tireless efforts in defending the rule of law and advancing the interest of the common man,” said Abdulmalik.
The delegation also used the occasion to pledge their readiness to collaborate with the Ministry of Justice in areas of legal education, citizens’ rights awareness, and community dispute resolution within Karu Local Government.
In his response, Barr. Isaac Danladi appreciated the visit and described the gesture as timely and encouraging.
He reaffirmed his ministry’s commitment to fair and transparent justice administration, and called for closer cooperation between local legislators and legal institutions.
“When we align our efforts, we build stronger institutions and a more just society. I thank you for your visit and look forward to deepening our partnership for the benefit of our people,” he remarked.
The visit is seen as a reinforcement of unity between the executive and legislative arms of government at the grassroots level, and a demonstration of growing synergy in governance under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule.
