The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has added another feather to his cap as he was conferred with an Outstanding Contribution Award by Good Tune Music, in partnership with Ray Multi-Media and the UNCAGED INITIATIVE, for his notable support to the creative industry.
The honour was in recognition of Danladi’s instrumental role in fostering a legal and institutional environment that supports artistic freedom, cultural expression, and entertainment development in Nasarawa State.
The award also acknowledges his indirect but vital contribution to the success of the UNCAGED TOUR: CURTAIN CALL, a vibrant musical concert held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
The award was presented to the Attorney General at his office in Lafia on Thursday.
In response, Barr. Danladi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organisers and commended them for their creative impact.
“This award is special to me because it comes from the creative community, those who spread joy and promote our heritage through music,” Danladi said.
“Though I could not attend the concert in person, my representative, Mr. Eche Amos, did a commendable job standing in for me. I look forward to attending your future events in person to show even more support.”
The UNCAGED Initiative team praised Danladi’s leadership, highlighting how legal policies under his supervision have contributed to a more inclusive and progressive atmosphere for artists in the state.
The event also celebrated Agbutun, a rising musical star from Nasarawa Eggon and a standout participant in Nigerian Idol Season 6 (2021), who continues to captivate audiences with his blend of afro-folk and soul, performed in both Eggon and English.
Danladi’s recognition marks another step forward in aligning governance with grassroots creativity—affirming that justice, culture, and innovation can thrive side by side in Nasarawa State.
