The leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lafia Branch, on Friday paid a congratulatory and solidarity visit to the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danladi, in his office in Lafia.
The delegation, led by the Chairman of the branch, Dennis Dauda Alaku, Esq., said the purpose of the visit was to officially inform the Attorney General that the new executive committee of the branch is now in his office and to express their readiness to work closely with the Ministry of Justice in promoting the rule of law and strengthening justice delivery in the state.
During the visit, the NBA officials informed the Honourable Attorney General about the branch’s forthcoming Law Week, scheduled to hold later this month.
They solicited the Ministry’s support to ensure the success of the event, which they said is aimed at fostering professional development and public enlightenment on legal matters.
In a symbolic gesture, the NBA delegation also presented a specially designed backdrop featuring the portrait of Barr. Isaac Danladi to the Honourable Commissioner, in recognition of his contributions to the legal profession and his role as the chief law officer of the state.

Responding, Barr. Isaac Danladi welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the thoughtful visit.
He commended the new NBA leadership for its proactive approach and reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining a strong partnership between the Ministry and the Bar for the advancement of justice, legal reforms, and good governance in Nasarawa State.
The visit marks the beginning of what both parties described as a renewed era of collaboration and mutual support in the legal and justice sectors of the state.
