As part of a far-reaching grassroots empowerment drive, the Al-Ihsan Foundation is set to distribute motorcycles to selected beneficiaries in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The official flag-off ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, 10th May 2025, at Zinariya, Mararaba, with stakeholders, community leaders, and the general public expected to witness the event.
In a significant boost to the initiative’s credibility and impact, the Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, and the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Labaran Magaji, PhD, have been named as mentors in the program.
Their inclusion reflects the Foundation’s commitment to transparent, strategic, and impactful community engagement.
According to the Foundation’s President, Alhaji Bashir Ya Mallam, the motorcycle distribution program is a deliberate step to support youth and women with viable tools for economic self-reliance.
“This project is a practical way to uplift vulnerable groups by providing them with the means to generate income and live with dignity,” he stated.
The public is warmly invited to attend and be part of this milestone event in Karu.
